PARTICIPATING TEAM

All participating teams, including the host, are required to pay the host site one umpire game fee per game played in the Baseball Alberta Provincial League. Non-host teams must submit the required game fees to the host site before their first game. In the event of rainouts, the host site will either return the check (if no fees are required) or issue a reimbursement for the games not played. Payment to umpires must be completed before each game.

Each participating team, including the host, is responsible for providing two Protest Committee members to sit on the Protest Committee for the games they are playing. Both the home and visiting teams must supply two members to the Committee.

Upon request, all participating teams must provide their Approved Roster, Affiliate Player Tracking Sheet (when utilizing Affiliate Players), Weekly Pitching Report (11U/13U/15U/18U), and lineup card to the Official Scorekeeper at least 15 minutes before the game. Teams are also responsible for ensuring they receive these items back, once checked/completed, before leaving the host site.

For 11U, 13U, 15U, and 18U teams, the weekly pitching reports must be (scanned and) emailed to Baseball Alberta by Wednesday of the following week.

No team needs to produce approved Transfer Requests, as all players listed on the Approved Initial/Final Roster will be approved by Baseball Alberta (transfers will be deemed approved).

Team rosters, duly authorized by the Registrar, must be produced upon request at all Baseball Alberta League Games/Provincial Championships. Any team entering the Baseball Alberta League without having all players, coaches, and managers properly registered will be subject to disqualification from that game and may be subjected to fines or suspension.
