COACH AWARDS
TED RUDD MINOR COACH OF THE YEAR
Presented annually to a minor coach who directed his or her team with sportsmanship. Ted Rudd was from the Lethbridge area and was a longtime coach in Baseball Alberta. He led the early efforts to recognize coaches for their critical role in the development of the sport. Ted was a member of the first Board of Directors following Baseball Alberta's incorporation in 1967 and was inducted as a Life Member in 1974.

BASEBALL CANADA GRASSROOTS COACH OF THE YEAR (ALBERTA)
This award (presented by Baseball Canada) is given to grassroots coaches who have demonstrated a positive coaching approach through the year, adhering to the LTAD principles, put forward some innovative developmental ideas while creating a fun environment for the young players. These winners are excellent role models while encouraging players to return to the game of baseball next season.

COACH DEVELOPER AWARD
Is presented to recognize an individual who has consistently contributed to the development of Baseball Alberta coaches across the province through a minimum of five years of facilitation of NCCP clinics, evaluation of coaches for NCCP certification, and leading coaching development through active participation in coach development camps, workshops, and training resources.
